About Atty. Jojo Perez

I am the Managing Partner of Perez Valencia & Perez Law Firm, based in Muntinlupa City and established in October 2001. My main areas of practice cover the laws on succession, property, real estate development, community associations, private corporations, the environment, and renewable energy.

I have been a real estate blogger since August 2009. I authored my first eBook entitled “Primer on Republic Act No. 9904: The Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners’ Associations”.

I am the Managing Director of Realttorney® Real Estate Planning Services. I am a real estate attorney and a licensed real estate broker with a wealth of experience in contract negotiations, litigation, and arbitration, and a PRC-accredited lecturer and speaker for real estate training and seminars. Through Realttorney® Real Estate Planning Services, I help clients with co-ownership disputes, legal due diligence, title transfer and registration, settlement of estates, court petitions on land titles, and homeowners’ association concerns.

Since 2022, I have been a Chartered Trust and Estate Planner (CTEP®). I also hold a Certificate in Real Estate Investing and a Professional Certificate in Family Wealth Planning from the Registered Financial Planners Association in the Philippines.

I took up a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science, at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and graduated in 1993. I finished my Bachelor of Laws at the College of Law, University of Perpetual Help – Rizal in Las Piñas City in 1998. I passed the 1999 Bar Examinations and was admitted to the practice of law in May 2000.

I enrolled in and passed the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma Course on Real Estate Management offered by the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE), De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in September 2013. I also lectured in that same course for two years.

I am an advocate of continuing education for real estate service practitioners (RESPs) through this website, my YouTube channel, LinkedIn, my Facebook Business Page, and other social media platforms. I am equally committed to helping Filipinos understand their rights and responsibilities as property owners.
