What we collect

  • Newsletter and eBook sign-ups: your email address and, where the form asks, your name.
  • Consultation bookings: your name, email address, phone number, the time you select, and any information you enter in the booking form.
  • Messages and inquiries: the details you choose to send us through a form or by email. Please note that our emails track opens and clicks.
  • Purchases (when our online shop opens): order details and payment card or e-wallet details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us. We will name the provider once the shop launches.
  • Website usage data: general technical information such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, collected through Jetpack Stats and cookies set by embedded services such as Calendly and YouTube.

Please do not send confidential case details through website forms or newsletter replies. An attorney-client relationship begins only when a formal engagement is agreed in writing. Until then, information you send is not covered by attorney-client privilege.

Why we use your data

  • To send you the eBook, newsletter, or launch notice you requested.
  • To schedule and conduct consultations and respond to your inquiries.
  • To process orders and deliver purchased products, once the shop is open.
  • To announce seminars, books, and courses you have asked to hear about.
  • To keep the website secure and understand how it is used.
  • To comply with legal and professional obligations.

We rely on your consent for email communications, on the need to perform a service you requested for consultations and orders, and on our legitimate interests for website security and analytics. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Who processes your data for us?

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our programs, under their own privacy terms:

  • MailerLite (email sign-ups, newsletters, and eBook delivery)
  • Calendly (consultation scheduling)
  • WordPress.com and Automattic (website hosting, site statistics, and spam filtering)
  • YouTube, where videos are embedded on a page
  • Our payment provider, once the shop opens, whether PayMongo, Xendit, or other providers.

Some of these providers store or process data outside the Philippines. By submitting your data, you understand it may be transferred to those countries, and we require our providers to protect it appropriately. We may also disclose data when required by law or a lawful order.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep consultation and order records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and professional record-keeping requirements, normally from two up to five years. We then delete or anonymize the data.

How we protect it

We use reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access limits, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. No online system is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you and notification is required, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law provides.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to its processing, to correct it, to request its erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to claim compensation for damages from unlawful processing. To use any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at the email above. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (https://privacy.gov.ph).
